Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Certification

To qualify for the SDVOSB program, your business must: a)Be a small business according to SBA’s size standards; b)Be at least 51% owned and controlled by one or more service-disabled veterans; c) Have one or more service-disabled veterans manage day-to-day operations who also make long-term decisions; d) Eligible veterans must have a service-connected disability.

Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Certification

The criteria for self-representing as an DBE include that the company should be 51% owned and controlled by one or more disadvantaged individuals, the disadvantaged individual(s) and must be either socially or economically disadvantaged.

Small Business Enterprise Certification

The criteria for self-representing as an SBE include that the company should be 51% owned and controlled by one or more disadvantaged individuals, the disadvantaged individual(s) must be either socially or economically disadvantaged and the company must be defined as small according to SBA’s size standards for each business’s respective industry.

Supplier Clearinghouse Certification

To qualify firms must be majority-owned by minorities, women, and/or LGBT individuals.  They also are managed and controlled on a daily basis by minorities, women, and/or LGBT individuals. Finally, these firms are considered an independent business.

NMSDC MBE Certified

Minority businesses must be at least 51% minority-owned, managed and controlled. For the purposes of NMSDC’s program, a minority group member is an individual who is at least 25% Asian-Indian, Asian-Pacific, Black, or Hispanic. For Native Americans, a tribal card and a blood degree certificate are required. Minority eligibility is established via a combination of document reviews, screenings, interviews and site visits. Ownership, in the case of a publicly owned business, means that at least 51% of the stock is owned by one or more minority group members. Must be a for profit enterprise and physically located in the U. S. or its trust territories. Management and daily operations must be exercised by the minority ownership member(s).
